To be honest I've not kept up on this so this is first I've heard of such a thing happening but it seems silly that it goes on. Luckily it seems that Tweetie 1.3 will be going through now anyway but what a silly piece of bad press to get over something so simple. Clear guidelines is definately the way to go that way there can be no argument if your app is rejected. If developers know where they stand then their development cycle is made easier as you don't have to keep re-writing till Apple decide it's ok.
