Maybe. When I finish an article, if I like it I dont want to have to scroll back up to share it.

I see most sharing links towards the bottom.

Moving it so far down in the article almost would make it useless, no?

I like the "retweet" function you guys have added, but I don't think I like its location.

Perhaps move it down and to the right of the Rate This function.

That is the generally accepted, traditional way of doing things for sure. We're going for the non-traditional to change things up, so we can hopefully spur conversation in unique ways.

If nothing else, it's definitely worth a shot for now.

Yes I do, but to me it seems rather useless to make a blog entry so that users can have a healthy discussion. In my opinion it would be better to make some sort of mini forum. Unless each discussion is based on the blog post, for example you would write an article about poverty and then everybody should only place comments based on that subject.

We're not wanting to run a forum, which can be a lot of work in and of itself. The idea here is to merely allow people to post whatever they want in a single article and potentially be a catalyst for discussions. It's just a technique to try and jump start article commenting. Know what I mean?

Wouldn't it be a better idea to use some sort of discussion system for that, such as a simplified forum rather than having to comment it on an article ?
