Honestly, neither me nor anyone I know has talked about or even knows about any of the things in your post. The people in the twitterverse (or whatever other asinine naming-meme you want to use) are incredibly self-absorbed. And what moderate influence they have is entirely vain and fleeting. Things like this just continue to remind me that Twitter is a complete waste of my fucking time. Kind of like this article. (oh yes, the irony of having typed of a response is not lost on me)

Ahh mania, its good stuff. Ofcourse no one will give a rats ass about moonfruit in a weeks time, but that's besides the point. Capitalizing on the moment is what smart companies do, even if the 15 minutes of fame is not down to 15 seconds before something else comes along. It's fun to watch and I hope the Moonfruit folks don't try to milk it until its teets run dry. There is nothing more sad than some after-the-fact jackass singing Chocolate Rain on a late late talk show selling t-shirts.

It was successful the first time, but don't count on it working again. But what you can count on is a swarming mass of marketers asking you to tweet #SEOsecretsGOLD for a chance to win $2,497 worth of E-books.

Sweet.
