Excellent additional point Greg. It's definitely important to set your priorities ahead of time so you and your loved ones know what is expected – there are no surprises which you may feel the wrath for later on down the line.

You covered writing for the blog, but left out the part about thinking about the next story 24/7, promoting the blog, responding to comments, handling growth, generating revenue, dealing with partners, etc. In my experience, all of these issues will be magnified as your readership grows. I am also interested in what your long-term goals are for techmiso? thoughts?
